We are a community-supported organization and our contributors come from across South Carolina and 16 other states in our nation. They support us because we work steadily to ensure the land we rely on for agricultural and recreational use does not disappear. Our supporters believe in our method of working with landowners to achieve lasting, voluntary conservation solutions. And, we have a great time showing off the special places in our region at events, including the Oyster Roast (February ) and the Bountiful Brunch Benefit (November) and our spring and fall educational and recreational event series.

PDLT’s responsibility for protected lands has expanded to over 38,000 acres across eleven counties. Conservation awareness is at an all-time high as much of the Pee Dee Watershed is experiencing unprecedented population growth and properties being sold for development. We are constantly identifying and being brought important projects that are rife with compelling conservation values including riparian buffers, working family farms and forests, and our region’s unique geographical features.
