Education and Outreach

Education and Outreach at the Pee Dee Land Trust has many facets.  Each spring and fall we offer a series of events to our members and to the general public.  The events include outdoor excursions, our popular Sportsmen’s Series, and more.  We also partner with local governments, educational institutions, businesses, and other nonprofits in the region to educate the public about the importance of conservation.

In fall 2011, we launched a website in collaboration with SCETV:  www.peedeeexplorer.org  Designed as not only a classroom tool for middle school history teachers, the site is also useful for tourism as it promotes many of our region's treasures.  Click on the link above to visit the site.  We hope you enjoy it.
